Fan Bai

Dr. Fan Bai is Associate Professor of Biophysics at Biomedical Pioneering Innovation Center (BIOPIC), School of Life Sciences of Peking University, and also a Principal Investigator of Beijing Advanced Innovation Center for Genomics (ICG). He received his BSc in Physics from Peking University (2003), DPhil in Biophysics from the University of Oxford (2008), and three years postdoctoral training at the University of Oxford and Osaka University. Bai Lab studies the frontier of biomedical research by combining cutting-edge single-molecule fluorescence imaging and single-cell sequencing, aiming at understanding the molecular mechanisms of cancer initiation and metastasis, bacterial virulence and drug tolerance.
